The LifeBelt CPR Device

The LifeBelt CPR Device, which is currently in the testing phase,  is an innovative tool designed by Deca-Medics Inc. to assist anyone from a trained medical personnel to an individual with no medical training to deliver effective CPR . With 350,000 Americans succumbing to  Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) annually,  is the LifeBelt hopes to help reduce those numbers by insuring that accurate pressure is delivered during CPR.

Since most emergencies requiring CPR occurs outside of medical institutions, medical response personnel and the non-medical individual is often left with the responsibility to provide CPR. Unfortunately, there are many factors that make non assisted CPR ineffective, but primarily it comes down to the fatigue factor. In essence, most people are only able to deliver about 2 minute of effective pressure before fatigue. The LifeBelt CPR Device is designed to assist a medical provider to continue CPR for much longer due to the need for less pressure, which will in turn provide the patient with longer delivery of CPR. The LifeBelt CPR Device also has a built in read out that will warn the medical provider whether they are providing enough pressure, making the deliver of CPR much more effective.
